In today’s society we lack genuine loving people who spread and give away love without expecting anything in return. Everyone sees their own benefit whenever they do something for others. Sometimes one hug can change people’s mind and mood drastically. There are times when people won’t like it and it’s natural. Some people need their space and distance from other people. Don’t get dishearten.
Let me tell you about a very interesting guy who used to give away hugs in exchange of red knitted hearts. One day he went with his friend to a house of disabled. There were almost 34 people there. He felt a bit uncomfortable as he has never given hugs to special people. However he continued giving hugs and was left with the last patient. When he approached him and hugged him, the patient started laughing “eehhhh” “eeehhhh” he looked around and saw everyone in the room from doctor’s to nurse to patients, everyone was crying. He asked, “What happened?” he can never forget what the nurse said, “this is the first time in 23 years we’ve ever seen him laughing.”
How simple it is to make a difference in other people’s lives? Just one simple act of ours can be an extraordinary and heartwarming act in other people’s lives. It can be a source of comfort for distressed people. also, it gives the other person reason to trust. Sometimes a hug can be far more effective than ever going therapies or treatments.no matter how strong people are but often times they have weak moments too and all they need is a hug.
Sometimes we just need a hug. A hug where someone wraps their arms around you so tight and reminds you that everything is going to be okay and that they are cared and loved.
